We're now independent speakers.
Alberto was very patient during our two years studying Spanish at Big School. It's difficult to start from scratch in your sixties but I'm a translator (from French) so it's a point of honour to learn the language. I also have many years' experience teaching English, so I know what's needed and how to do it - and Alberto ticked all the boxes. Thanks to him, we're now independent speakers, if not fluent.
